Trustworthy Pet Sitter with Ample Experience
About this pro
Michael was terrific. Needed a last minute sitter and he delivered. My cat loved him. Responsible and a frequent communicator. Would definitely use again. Highly recommendedMay 16, 2018
We hired Michael to look after our cat for a few days while we were away. He did a great job and we are very satisfied with the quality of service he provided! He came everyday, gave her food and water, checked on her wellbeing, and sent us updates. This was our first time paying someone to look after our cat, and I am definitely hiring Michael next time we are out of town, and I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a responsible and reliable pet sitter!Feb 21, 2017Verified
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? In the beginning, I always make a point of personally visiting the client and his or her pet(s) in the comfort of their own home. This typically provides the client with the opportunity to give me the run-down on things like grooming habits, specific diets, and administering medication when necessary. I also like to leave a unique, handwritten note to each client before I leave. I like to think of it as a gesture to display my gratitude for the client's hospitality.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED (Certified by the American Red Cross through May 2019). Please refer to my list of Media Files for the PDF link to my Certificate.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project? When hiring a professional to perform his or her job in a private, intimate setting like one's home, I would advise customers to first ask themselves, "Can I fully place my trust in this person once I've handed over the keys to my apartment?" If the answer is a resounding Y-E-S, the next question I'd ask myself concerns competence, aptitude, and professionalism: "Will the person I've now officially entrusted with a) the keys to my home and b) access to my beloved pets truly go above and beyond the call of duty to get the job done?" If you can honestly answer this one in the affirmative as well, then there's only one question left: "When is the soonest he/she can begin?"
