- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
If you are interested in a truly custom design to match your special day, custom designs start with a $100 deposit which will go towards your final total. I also have a collection of wedding invitation designs already that you can see on my website that start at $4 per invitation which includes an information card, rsvp card, and matching envelopes. But I also do Save the Dates, Thank You cards, menus, and programs for these designs as well.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First we will talk about what styles you like, the theme of your wedding, and what colors you want to use. I find that inspiration pictures from your Pinterest board really help the process go smoothly. From there, a $100 deposit is required and then I will start creating your dream invitations! You can have as many revisions as you'd like until you're happy. Before your invitations are printed, the remainder of your total is paid and then it's off to the printer! You will receive your finished invitations within 2 weeks after your final payment has been made.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I got my degree in advertising and graphic design from Drake University where I quickly fell in love with the process of taking a design from concept to finished product. The smell and feel of paper fresh off the printer is one of the best things in the world!
