We charge on an hourly basis, depending on our clients' needs. We assign our staff to your requirements accordingly. We showcase a breakdown of what exactly is included in the bill.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We provide a free 10-minute estimate with our clients to discuss their needs. Usually, if they would like to continue, we offer a full comprehensive discussion about their current situation, whether or not they have someone working on their books and if they are happy with their current service.
For businesses, we can piecemeal any of our services that they need, then review their tax returns both for business and personal, and lastly plan their business towards a positive direction for the future.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Christopher York is a New York State Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Personal Financial Specialist (PFS), and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). In 1982, Chris graduated Magna Cum Laude from CUNY Bernard M. Baruch College with a BBA in Accounting and is now the owner of his accounting firm, C York CPA, P.C. Chris is well known for his prestigious accomplishments in a wide range of accounting and financial services. He worked in both a national CPA firm and local accounting firms before starting his own. In 1986, he started handling clients who were interested in his knowledge and expertise. Chris founded C York CPA, P.C. in 1997. He continuously maintains over 40 CPE credits annually to keep up with the accounting and tax industry. With over 35 years of experience, he is more than happy to help any client with careful analysis and diligence.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We currently work with different types of clients, both individuals and businesses, in any of the 50 states, ranging from medical, legal, retail, contractors, and freelancers.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I helped my client gain a significant 25% refund on what her taxes accumulated to. It took about 6 months to a year to collect all their information and resolve from the government.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Trust, quality, and security are three of the most important qualities to look for. Financial information is personal to you, your business, and your future.
