- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing for chef services is based on a day rate, determined by the number of meals you'd like, the serving size for each and the frequency per week. The more info you provide helps determine an accurate quote and faster response to your request.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After initial correspondence, we will connect over the phone or in person if you prefer. We will discuss dietary preferences, needs and expectations. I will send my sample menu and a food questionnaire. I will then create a weekly meal plan to which we can alter and change together. We plan our first cook day, I shop and get cooking! I then store the food in containers, offer reheating instructions, clean up and am on my way!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied nutrition sciences and dietetics, which led me to my passion for cooking. I found that for me, the best way to help people find their own path to being healthier is to either show them how to prepare home cooked meals or offer my services to ensure nutrition focused weekly meals. In addition I trained and worked at the Institute of Culinary Education. I have 5 years of experience working with families and individuals, providing cooking services, lessons and nutrition coaching.
