Introduction: I am extremely good at explaining the most complex cooking principles, techniques and tasks in a way that novice and experienced cooks can easily understand. I make sure to have fun while also learning at the same time. I do not only demonstrate and lecture. I believe fully in interaction and individual participation. I provide not only recipes but also techniques and sourcing information for hard-to-find but key ingredients!
I love to cook, but even more I love to teach others. Meeting new people and learning about them, their needs, and background are what make me thrive. Any time I take the role of a teacher or demonstrator, I make sure to always remain the student and explorer. I enjoy hearing people's questions, as they make me think and reexamine the most basic of cooking tasks. I enjoy engaging people's senses through taste, texture, aromas, and the natural beauty of food. I truly value being able to share what I know and pass this information on to others, all while making spectacular food that can be enjoyed privately or in the company of dear friends and family.
