Introduction: I have mediated family law related issues for about 20 years, and only one case fell out of mediation. I charge a flat fee depending on the complexity of the case which is quoted to you upfront, so there are no surprises. And I have been divorced, so I have walked in the shoes of my clients. I understand where you are and where you are going. And I am always optimistic about the future. I have experienced a litigated divorce before the advent of alternate dispute resolution choices. I like the feeling of being able to help people in crisis navigate the mine field of legal jargon, laws, and choices. And I believe that I help the problems, not create them.

$3500 for an agreed divorce seems high, most paralegals charge $1500
Law Offices of Elizabeth Jones's reply
Ricardo, I am an attorney with nearly 20 years of experience in doing Mediated Dissolutions. I handle all the issues that can arise and inform my clients as to the law and what I have seen the Court order. I will prepare all of the documents and get them filed. A paralegal does not have the background and knowledge of an attorney and cannot practice the law. But if you case involves just paperwork and no division of property, or no children, and no other contested issues, then a Paralegal is perfect for you. I think it is interesting that I received two stars for doing nothing but give you an estimate.
