During my time as a Studio Manager at The UC Davis Craft Center, Decoy was responsible for designing vector art and t-shirt graphics for the production of staff and volunteer apparel on a quarterly basis for over 2 years. During this time, they proposed and discussed a variety of designs with a committee, then independently coordinated production to deliver large volumes of screen-printed T-shirts. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For remote clients: Phone or email consultation in which we get to know each other. Namely, I want to understand how your business works (your mission) and where you need the most help. I offer a few suggestions and we see if I am able to meet your business need in a timely manner.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
2006: Representational & life drawing coursework 2008: Vector graphic production, managed a screenprinting shop 2010: Teaching linoleum tile printmaking 2012: Web development in Wordpress (PHP), Drupal, Plone, Django (Python). Geospatial map making in JavaScript 2013-present: Multimedia marketing material creations. Advertising in print and web media.
