Introduction: Our therapists are all Masters level Christian Counselors who enjoy integrating their faith to the extent that clients desire to do so. We strive to uphold the highest levels of integrity in the way we practice and do business. We believe respect and compassion are critical for our clients to have a healing, encouraging, and empowering experience with us. We have clinical training and work from a variety of different approaches and specialties, so we can place you with a therapist who is likely to be a fit for your specific needs. Finding the right therapist is very important and we want you to feel trust and a connection to the person you share your most personal details with. We can do things a bit differently than some of the bigger clinics out there, such as working as a team to address your family needs at the same time as individual issues. We love to connect with our clients exactly where they are at and walk with them in an authentic way. We use humor as a healing tool and walk with you in whatever pain you are in. This is not just a job to us--it is a calling. We believe that every person has value regardless of their past, what others think of them, or things they have done wrong. We believe people are meant to be in relationships with others and we strive to form the therapy relationship to feel safe and healing. We also strive to help people regardless of their financial resources; so benevolence funds may be available based on need and availability. If we quote you a rate that would not work for your family, we may be open to negotiation to ensure that you are still getting the care you need. And if we can't help you, we will gladly make a referral to hopefully ease the process of finding a therapist.

Nothing but a great experience with Jenny. She is very easy to talk with. Even on those most difficult conversations. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We will discuss our rate clearly with you before starting a session--we hate surprise bills too! We are currently in network with BCBS, Ucare, Medical Assistance, and Hennepin Health as well as a few EAPs. For private pay clients we offer a sliding scale based on income and most people qualify for a rate somewhere between $55 and 125 per session. Our goal is to make sure therapy is affordable to all. (And No, you don't have to provide us with your tax documents or a sworn testimony of your employer, we will trust your word on this!)
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We speak briefly on the phone to verify if you are looking for any specialties, specific schedule, or other preferences so we can place you with someone who would be a good fit for your needs. We then send our intake paperwork by email so you can review client rights and privacy information if you would like and may complete the paperwork prior to starting. This way when we meet you, the therapist can dive right in rather than spending the intake session asking questions that may not be important to you.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our therapists are Masters level or higher and complete ongoing training in ethics, general practice, and areas of specialty that they cultivate. Some areas like depression and anxiety are not necessarily thought of as specialties as we face them so regularly in our work, but we do strive to become well trained in particular specialties beyond what we regularly see. Currently we have therapists who specialize in couples counseling, sexual addictions, substance abuse, parent coaching, trauma, EMDR, child/play therapy, Autism and Attachment, Anger Management, and Faith based counseling. Other specialties are listed on our website. If you're not sure whether we can work with something you're dealing with, please ask-- if we are not the best fit, we will be happy to make a referral.
