I am very impressed with the way Selene interacts with my two kids (8 & 6). She gets them to open up and relate to her (something my 8 year old son has trouble with) while teaching them piano. They are both genuinely interested in playing the piano and they look forward to every lesson with Selene. I highly recommend her for as an instructor!

Great teacher I am so happy I found Selene to guide me on my piano learning journey. Selene is extremely friendly and kind. She is also very patient and teaches you based on how you progress. Experienced, knowledgeable, and very patient! I cannot fathom how music teachers are able to endure the cacophony of new students. As lovers of music it must make their ears bleed to hear the foul notes and awful caterwauling during the learning curve, but Selene Hunter handles it without a flinch. From young children to students in their twilight years she is able to tailor her tutelage to the best way each individual learns, since we are not all the same. Her willingness to teach in your own home is a blessing, and means you do not have two or three children "waiting in the lobby" while one child finishes up. I would not hesitate to recommend Selene. She is professional, patient, and knowledgeable at her craft.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is based on how long you prefer your class to be. classes can be 60mins for teens and adults; and 30mins for preschoolers and young school age children. There will be one class each week. Tuition is paid at the beginning of the month for all classes for that month. Payment is only adjusted for vacations, with notice, and cancellations by the teacher.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have been teaching for over 20 years now. I taught preschoolers to seniors using many different teaching methods and instructional lesson books. Everyone is unique in their learning process and my teaching approach will acknowledge your uniqueness and design your lessons to fit you.
