- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically do not make hard estimates for the customer out of fairness for both parties. Usually, my estimates are worse case senario, which means the project will cost no more than a set number. The customer is charge less than or equal to the maximum cost.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initially, I meet with the customer to determine their needs, the budget limits, and evaluate the job sites conditions. Next, I develop a plan and write a contract for the customer to approve and sign. Once the contract is signed, I make arraignments with the retailer for the customer to pay in person or over the phone for project materials. Lastly, I ask the customer to choose to make labor payments daily or in fourths.
