- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?The first meeting with a client will be a fitness consultation. We will discuss what your fitness goals are and what is going to be the best approach to reaching those goals ASAP. Also, we will talk about what fitness level the client is currently and what their medical history is to identify if he/she is healthy enough to participate in a fitness program. After the consultation we will discuss the necessary approach as far as program, frequency, diet and any other necessary lifestyle/ habit changes that we'll need to implement in order to reach the clients goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?-5 years of service in the United States Marine Crops with two overseas deployments to Iraq -Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from San Diego State University -Certified Personal trainer from the National Counsel on Strength and Fitness -Corrective Exercise Specialist from the National Academy of Sports Medicine
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I developed a passion for fitness during my enlistment in the Marine Corps. After separating from the military, I knew this was the route I wanted to take as a career. I love working with a diverse group of clients and I love how rewarding it is when they get the results they're working for.
