David really works the actors in a way that prepares them to be on a set. He combines scene work with improv exercises that are fun and challenging. This is a class for people with some understanding of the craft. You need to be able to cold read and deliver lines. But you do not need to be an expert or a known player. You can be someone starting out. Every week scenes are taped and you get a copy of your work with days.Dec 14, 2016
LA Acting Studios is a great place for actors of all levels to improve their auditioning skills . David knows how to hone in on each actors' strength and weaknesses and helps them get to peak performance . His warm up exercises work well in getting actors energized for class . I highly recommend LA Acting Studios to anyone who wants to improve their craft .Nov 30, 2016
Great experience! Very interactive! Highly recommended!!Nov 26, 2016
Many great insights into what to be aware of from a cold-read audition all the way up to on-screen shoots (master, and close-up shots). I really learned many small intricacies about myself that hindered my growth and those that come inherent in the trade that can make or break you. My only major complaint is that there never seems to be enough time. Haha. The on-screen portion would be awesome with lighting and audio but that would also contribute to time consumption. David and Jeremy have been fantastic, though, and are proving that there are people in this industry who care about you and your succcess. I really do love it.Nov 23, 2016
