Jonathan is the man. I have gone in twice to record two rap songs and the care and knowledge Jonathan has is second to none. Not to mention you will not find better prices in Los Angeles. Whether you are on a budhApr 19, 2018Verified
Such a wonderful, kind, professional experience. Jonathan really was the exact person I was looking for. Warm, motivating, and brilliant. I'm very grateful, and look forward to working with him again soon.Dec 7, 2017Verified
Jon is the man. Very professional, patient and skilled. Made the recording process feel extremely relaxed and enjoyable. He's very quick on his feet in finding different ways to achieve certain sounds and different methods to capture the best takes, during the recording process. Jons a really kind and genuine guy who is truly passionate about what he does in the studio. He strives to achieve the best recording and mix possible. Would absolutely work/continue working with him on future projects! 🤘🏽Nov 20, 2017Verified
Jonathan was excellent. He was a pleasure to work with. He did everything we requested for our project and more. He has a great skill-set that goes beyond audio and recording. He was great at handling our hardware and software needs. I would recommend him to anyone.Jun 13, 2017VerifiedJonathan D.'s reply
Thanks Robin! It was so cool to be able to do some work for you at the Bowl. I love how the whole thing came out. I keep telling all of my friends who are going to a show there to check it out!

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I start off at $50/hr. However, if you want to block out a bunch of time or cut some other deal I'm always game to discuss other ideas.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Since music is an extension of the person, I like to have a little chat with them about the music that they are looking to record. This way I can get to know them and, therefore, know their music better so that I can be a partner in creating the sounds in their head. So, yeah - basically I start off by attempting to read their mind.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I started learning drums at 9 with a private teacher, went to music school at 20, and from there I never quit.
