- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Travel pricing is variable depending on, for instance, when you want to go, where you are headed, what type of vacation it is (cruise, tour, self-drive, all inclusive), types of amenities you are looking for. Through our affiliation with one of the largest agencies in the US, we have access to a broad inventory of travel suppliers, great pricing and value-added amenities that other agency don't have access to.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new client, I like to get a good understanding about their personal preferences, their past travel and what they liked and didn't like about it, and what would make this trip a success in their mind. It's not just about finding travel that meets your budget. It's about creating a travel experience that meets your needs and expectations.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Education in this industry is an ongoing thing. Almost every day, I am attending webinars on new travel suppliers, viewing webinars on travel destinations, taking part in supplier certification training or just talking to clients about their experiences. There is always something new to learn. And of course, there is no better education than personal travel experience, my favorite!
