We had Brad transform an awkward bedroom storage space into a beautiful open shelving system. He helped us to think about the design and provided a couple of nice options for us to consider. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do have pricing standards that very in terms of job situation. I can build an overall project out or also can do hourly as well.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically I connect through email or phone and have a conversation about the project. As each job is unique it will be determined weather I can start right away or go through a planning stage first that may consist of design and budget. depending on the size and scale of the project I may ask for a downpayment. However a lot of times I do not ask for that. When the job is complete I make sure that the customer is satisfied with everything and a final payment installment is requested.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken formal training in carpentry skills, blueprint and structural design through the Minnesota Carpenters Union for 4 years.
