D & J's Elite Moving
About this pro

Super professional! They were right on time and got the job time in an impressive time frame while being very careful and mindful of belongings! They were very friendly and very courteous! I've moved 5-6 times all over, have paid twice as much with big time moving companies only to get less satisfaction, professionalism and less courtesy & again less money in the bank account. I highly recommend them to any looking to move, Rates are great and they were exceptional! Highly Recommended! !!Sep 5, 2016Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Pricing is either hourly or flat rate. Most standard household moves are hourly. Smaller 1 piece moves or long distance moves are flat rate prices.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? We prefer a 1 to 1 phone conversation with all customers to ensure that all details are ironed out prior to the move. We like to get as much information about your move upfront so there are no surprises when arriving at your home. This can be as little as how far is the exit of your home to the back of the truck going to be or do you have a 700-800 lb gun safe. With all information exchanged between both parties it eliminates any misunderstandings on both parties. We are firm believers that communication is paramount.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work? All employees hired weather they are experienced or not have to go through an initial 40 hour training prior to an actual move. The training consists of hands on techniques of how to properly move different types of furniture. Also how to pad wrap and shrink wrap furniture to include antique and expensive items. We train for approximately 20 hours on how to properly and safely load a truck. Each crew member also has to complete 5 hours of videos. Topics ranging from how to properly treat a customer, first basic first aide training.
