Introduction: Serving as an officiant is something I’m passionate about and that I enjoy immensely. I strive to be affordable and center the couple in my work. Ms. Martinez-Doane was an amazing officiant! She was engaging and witty! Her welcoming demeanor made our guests feel comfortable. We had a participatory ceremony and many of our family and friends hadn't met before our wedding day. She really rallied them together for us. Most importantly, she arrived early and made us feel comfortable. For a day that is characteristically without stress, dealing with Ms. Martinez-Doane and the ceremony were some of the best parts of our memorable day.A fantastic public speaker who can easily draw in a crowd - I'd recommend her officiant services for anyone looking to create an intimate and sentimental ceremony, with a touch of humor!

Ms. Martinez-Doane officiated our wedding in July of 2017. She took the time to really understand what we as a couple wanted out of the ceremony. She ended up writing a heartfelt and humorous ceremony that was exactly what we wanted. I highly suggest using Mrs. Martinez-Doane.

We chose Candace as our officiant because she was a friend, bilingual and had experience officiating weddings. To say that she exceeded our expectations is an understatement. We wanted an intimate wedding and wrote our ceremony in English and Spanish to bring our families together. Candace met with us beforehand to go over ceremony details, and learn more about our relationship. She brought that familiarity and authenticity to our day in beautiful ways.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fees are all inclusive. I am not looking to make tons of money because I know how expensive weddings can be. I love doing this work and love being a part of couples special day.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically I meet with clients in person or via video conference depending on their location. I learn about them as a couple, what they are looking for in a ceremony, and how I can help facilitate their special day. After we meet, if they want me to write a ceremony for them I typically do that over the next 3-5 days and send them a link to a google document to review and comment on.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
A friend asked me to officiate their wedding and the rest is history!
