Jesse did a fantastic job installing the bathroom ventilation system in our apartment. He was courteous, professional and efficient. He also made sure to clean up after the project. I know this will be the first of many project I have Jesse work on at my home.

Jesse Hess of Hess Construction created a new and up-to-date environment to a condo that had a decor which dating back to the1970s. Jesse began the work earlier than expected; which was fantastic - we were on a tight timeline after spend enormous amount of it interviewing general contractors. Even during our first couple of meetings, Jesse would give suggestions that would save money, time, and improve the look we had already decided on for our new home. Everything that was installed resulted in a look that made me use profane language upon first sight. It was beautiful just didn't seem to do it justice. I love waking up in and coming home to our new home! Thank you, Jesse!

Jesse installed all new electrical outlet boxes, switches and covers in our 100 year old Edwardian House. He did a very nice job. It took longer than expected but he came back the next day to finish, and picked up any missing items needed.

I originally hired Jesse to install a washer and dryer but then also asked him to build out a couple closets when he told me about his woodworking background and construction business. The closets are good - took way longer than planned but it was pretty good job overall.

Jesse got our house ready for renting. He remodeled two bathrooms, painted and installed new flooring. Besides that he made the house look as close to new and ready to rent as a 70 year old house can look. He worked with on where to focus our needs and the best materials to purchase. I will never use anyone else.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Generally I like to get a cost range through verbal communication, after measurements have been taken and the space has been examined, I am usually able to give an estimate that includes labor, material and other costs like permits and dumping fees.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I like to get a grasp on the scope of the work. Discuss the range of possibilities that can be applied within ones budget. Come up with an effective cost analysis and prioritize the key goals. Through out any project I like checking in about progress and should any issues arise determine with the customer the best course of action .
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked as a carpenter since I was 15. I have had a chance to work and train in many of the trades since then. I always love to learn.
