We have recently changed our name from Over the Edge Productions to StoryPoint Films because we feel strongly about telling stories and we wanted our name to reflect that. Our tagline is that we help you "showcase your business" and that really is what we do. My business had several videos produced by StoryPoint. Andy worked with pre-production, scripting, video capture, coaching talent, voiceover, animations, post production and even handled getting translations into Japanese. One video required a number of scenes to be filmed in Norway. Andy was able to source a local agency to complete the required video scenes and conduct the interviews with senior company personnel. The final product is one of my top performing lead generating videos. I have access to an internal corporate audio visual team but I choose StoryPoint because the projects are completed quickly, efficiently, and under budget. The final results are hands-down, better than anything that I can have produced internally.

Byrne & Jones Construction had StoryPoint Films create a promotional video for St. Mary's High School. We made one call to Andy Turner - shared our idea (although we didn't really have an idea) and Andy took it from there. Next thing we knew the video was complete - and amazing beyond words. We so impressed with the professional story telling, imagery, video work, editing, ease and cost we've asked Andy to make other videos for our company. Andy, and his wife, Becky, provided Leaps and Bounds with two amazing videos to help promote our business. Their skills and abilities complimented each other, allowing for a fun and enjoyable experience. They were easy to work with, flexible, and VERY passionate about what they do. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will set up a meeting to see if we are a good fit to work together. We prefer this to be an in-person meeting but it can be done over the phone as well. A proposal (depending on the size and scope of the project) will then be generated outlining the scope and estimated cost for the project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in Communications / Video Production and have worked professionally in the video industry since 1997.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Video production is the only job I have ever had. I went to college with the intention of making this my career and it stuck!
