I have used Ellen's Pet Service numerous times. My dogs have been very well taken care of every time. I will definitely continue to use Ellen's Pet Service in the future as I know that I don't have to worry about them when she is watching them. It's very nice to have a reliable pet sitter who can be counted on to treat my dogs as well as I treat them.

Ellen has watched our dogs for the past few years. They love her! She stays at our house with them so they don't have to be alone. She gives them their daily medication as needed in addition to plenty of love and treats. We have used other dog sitters in the past, but have not used them since finding Ellen's pet sitting service. We can tell when we get home after being away that our dogs have been looked after very well. Ellen most recently watched them for us a few weeks ago and I know we will book her again in the next few months. Thank you Ellen - from us and our dogs!

Ellen took excellent care of my tortoise shell colored cat. She is very shy around strangers but became very good buds with Ellen. By the end of their time together, she was setting in Ellen's lap. I will ask her to care for my cat anytime she needs a caretaker besides me.

Ellen's Pet Sitting is by far, the best person, including friends and family, to have watch your furbabies! This is not only her business, but her life, and it seems that there is not one animal/pet, that she isn't familiar with and has not taken care off! (Guinea pigs, hermit crabs, even our leopard gecko!) She works so hard and is so loving to her people clients as well as the pets in her care. She sends pictures and updates daily, which is so appreciated, but with Ellen, its as if you don't even need this perk because I NEVER WORRY ABOUT MY BABIES. It is such a good feeling when you don't have to worry AT ALL about your pets bc you know you have the best pet sitter in the world! Ellen is trustworthy and professional, and she is reasonably priced! I don't think you'd find a better pet sitter if you tried! We all love you, Ellen! C and B and "the zoo"!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes! There is no charge for initial meet and greet. I will have all prices and paper work with me at the meet and greet. Very competitive pricing. I actually do the work!! I usually quote my per visit, with the initial quote.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial visit to home for a meet and greet, with owner and pet. To sign a contract, and to obtain emergency numbers. To basically go over all the guestions the customer has, and to review pet's schedule. Feeding, medication, walking and exercise.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Grew up on farm..I have been around pets since I was a child, and I have owned numerous pets ..I have two black Schnauzers, and two special need cats. So, I know how to deal with a variety of animals.. And, special need animal. If it is a choking disorder, or a limb removed. I have experienced most everything. Just always stay calm, and loving!
