Courtney is an excellent dog trainer. Our puppy and we have learned so much from her - she focuses on great modeling and positive reinforcement and her enthusiasm and professionalism are ever present. I have recommended Courtney to others and will continue to do so. She is excellent.Mar 23, 2017Verified
Courtney met with my six-month-old Labradoodle puppy, Charlie, and me for more than a half hour for free. She helped us come up with a plan for training Charlie. He is an exuberant puppy with some anxiety about going outdoors and meeting new people. (We followed the vet guidelines to keep our puppy inside before he completed his vaccine schedule, resulting in anxiety and fear of the unknown.) Courtney inspired us with her calm manner and knowledge of dogs and dog owners. With Courtney's help I think Charlie will overcome some bad habits--barking and anxiety from everyday stimulation. We have a plan to work with Courtney for 4 sessions. Thank you, Courtney.Jan 15, 2017Verified
Courtney was great. Our dogs had separation anxiety and within a few sessions she had done incredible work giving us the coaching and tools we needed to resolve the issues.Dec 13, 2016Verified
Courtney is helping us retrain and socialize our rescued husky who is also recovering from major surgery to his rear leg. Her sensitivity to our dog's recovery and post-rescue needs was most important to us. Our basic goal is keeping him calm when coming across cats, squirrels, strollers, bikes and children so that he is not reinjured. We are working toward a long-term goal of field training and responsiveness to hand and voice commands so we can take him places where he is allowed off leash. Courtney is easy to get along with, understands our goals, understands our dog and knows how to work with all of us. We feel that Devoted Dog Training has been a tremendous success story for us after just three half-hour sessions plus our initial interview which really helped us make the right choice!Apr 7, 2017Verified
