Attic Cat - Rodet Exclusion Company
About this pro
We hired Attic Cat for rat proofing the whole house and complete insulation replacement for the attic. The estimator Shawn was great to work with, and followed up with us throughout the project. It's a family business focused on customer satisfaction and I would highly recommend them.Mar 2, 2018Verified
I was debating whether to go with big brand such as terminix for my rodent proofing needs but I am happy I went with Attic Cat. They are more personable and happy to be flexible to your unique needs. Thanks Attic Cat!Feb 20, 2017Verified
The folks from Attic Cat did a very thorough job with rodentproofing our 100-year-old home and installing a vapor barrier in the crawlspace. The technician was friendly and explained to me all the work they were doing and why. They've followed up on trap checks and I have full faith that they'll keep to their warranty if any rodents return. We had friends who were skeptical that one could rodent proof a house in our area where mice and rats are very common year-round, but so far the work has been very effective as far as we can tell!Feb 13, 2017Verified
Very responsive and diligent. José and his crew arrived on time, did a thorough job, explained clearly what they did, and cleaned up completely. Highly recommended.Nov 3, 2016Verified
Easy to schedule, seemed to do a good job. Will update my review depending on whether the rats come back, and if so, how Attic Cat handles it! That seems to be the differentiation between companies I've used in the past for rats.Oct 13, 2016Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I don't. It all depends on how severe the infestation level is.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? The customer will schedule an inspection through our website or call our office. The technician will arrive at the site on the scheduled date and time and will inspect the attic/crawl space for rodent activity, damages accrued and entry points. The technician will collect pictures from the site. After the inspection, the technician will show the pictures and provide a full assessment of the inspection. last he will provide couple or more solutions on how to restore the site and prevent future rodent entry. If hired, We will call the customer a day before to notify our arrival, at the day of the job the team will arrive between the hours of 8-10AM to start the work. First, the project manager will introduce himself and go over the work order before starting. The home will be protected with full ceiling to floor nylon. The daily job process is: cleaning every trace of rodent infestation, sanitate and deodorize, rodent proof every entry point the size of a dime or bigger, clean up the job site of any trace of work. More points: The homeowner can stay home while we do the job. The homeowner will be contacted/visited by the company manager during the day of the job to ensure quality and satisfaction.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a contractor license C2- Insulation allowing me to work at people's attics and crawl space. I'm also in the process of getting my exterminator / pest certificate. I'm working in the field of rodents for 5 years and I proudly open my new company with a much better one-time treatment method to eliminate rodents from entering your home.
