Hong Chen, LAc. is a skilled Traditional Chinese Medicine doctor and his acupuncture treatments have worked effectively for me. I saw Dr. Chen for insomnia and menopause problems. I had been suffering from insomnia for many years but it was getting worse; on top of that I had heart palpitations, nervousness, dry eyes, hot flashes, and night sweats. Within three treatments, my hot flashes and night sweats were gone. After about twelve treatments, I was able to fall asleep faster, stay asleep longer, and I felt much better rested; the palpitations and nervousness were soothed and I felt more at ease. I am continuing to see Dr. Chen to further improve my health. During each visit Dr. Chen takes my pulse, checks my tongue, and listens to my concerns to make his diagnosis. During the acupuncture treatment he regularly checks the pulse to see if the treatment is working, and adjusts the needles accordingly. He has occasionally prescribed herbs, too, to supplement the treatment, though his acupuncture alone is already effective. Dr. Chen's acupuncture works and I would highly recommend anyone looking to improve their daily health to seek him out. The building in which his office is located is a little run down, but Dr. Chen keeps a very clean and welcoming clinic. He is easy to talk to, is open to questions, and never rushes the appointment. You will be in good hands.
