Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Trained in the Suzuki and Dalcroze methods, I specialize in working with young children. In my 10 years of experience teaching, however, I have worked with students of all ages, and I come equipped with games, images, and strategies to appeal to a wide variety of learning styles and personality types. Regardless of your level, my goal is to give you the tools for music to be enjoyable and rewarding. We will spend time developing note-reading as well as ear-training, learning how to practice efficiently, and finding the right posture for your body. Every person is unique, and I love cultivating relationships with my students over time. I look forward to getting to know each student as an individual. It is a thrill to share in the joy of a student's hard-earned progress.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

$30 for a half-hour lesson, $45 for an hour lesson

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I offer a free half-hour sample lesson for prospective students. This way, we can gauge whether we would be a good match for each other. During the sample lesson, we'll discuss your past musical experience, if any, as well as your goals and what kind of time commitment you plan to make for practicing and lessons. If it's a good fit, we'll schedule regular lessons (usually once a week) and decide on some pieces to work on, based on your interests and level.
