A first class experience without a doubt! I knew my family and I were in for a real treat from the beginning. Niko bent over backwards to tailor each dish according to various requests and allergies and more than delivered on it. I went with the crowd favorites, but I GUARANTEE you there isn't a wrong move possible when solidifying your menu choices. I can't say enough about the quality of food (all organic, fresh, and hand crafted), the presentation, and mixture of textures with each dish. Niko is truly a master at creating a healthy, delicious, and enjoyable meal. In addition, she was such a delight to have in our house and has such a warm, welcoming vibe. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Typically I will want to know more about the clients needs, so I like to have a conversation before quoting my clients. I will share a variety of menu options crafted around their unique needs and give them the opportunity to choose from multiple options in each category. I will handle all the shopping, cooking, service and clean up, and the client can relax and enjoy their guests in celebration.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am a self-trained chef, that grew up cooking in my family's greek diner in Oakland. I have always had a passion towards food, and participated in various competitions, even getting close to making it on Food Network's Chopped. I have taken it upon myself to train under various chefs in the Bay Area and am incredibly thankful for all that I have learned from their talent and creativity.
