FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fee for overnight is $75. Thumbtack takes a connection fee, so it isn't that much take home pay. I charge extra for administering medication, if it involves more than tossing a pill in the food dish. I charge $10 less for stays in my home.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Phone conversation: Let's chat. I will learn about your pet needs and you will learn about me! 2. Pre-visit: Everything will go more smoothly if your pet and I meet each other first. Also, reviewing the household routine always decreases confusion later. 3. Check-ins: If possible, I will send photos and texts to you so that you feel connected to what is happening at home with your four-legged while you are away. Less worries for you! 4. Post-service review: Feedback is the best! (Yes-both kinds) I don't want to be a pest, but one more conversation regarding the experience you and your pet received under my care completes the circle of service.
