FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I believe each customers buisness is different. There are no standard price protocols that meet every customers need. Some customers may not want as much done as others. some may include cleaning products and Equipment others may not. Condition of each office or floor is different. Many offer a sq ft price and if pressed I'll offer one as well but an experienced professional always looks at what he is going to be doing before committing to a set price. Also I've been doing this for many years and have a basic idea how much per hour I would charge and how long it would take once I see the building.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically I look at what they would like done, walking with them to ensure I am going to be able to meet their needs. I offer suggestions that may also help in that regard. I don't want my customers paying for what they don't need.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My brother had a cleaning service when I was 10. I learned how to operate commercial carpet machines and floor scrubbers then. That was 35 yrs ago. I read up on new techniques often. And I work subcontracting at times and pick up things from other companies.
