- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Cost of Services for a House (Single Family) range from $199.00 to $450.00 depending on the size of the home and additional services requested by the home owner. I do offer military discount of 10% with proof of service!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A home inspection is a limited visual examination of the readily accessible and installed systems in a home. The inspector will evaluate the function and safety of a home’s structure, roofing, HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems. A “home inspection” is a professional opinion of the condition of the home in the form of a written report. - When is a home inspection required? You may need or want a home inspection if you are renting, purchasing or selling a home. The inspection report provides valuable information about the site conditions as well as the interior and exterior components of a home. - How long does a home inspection take? A typical home inspection takes approximately 2-3 hours. The exact amount of depends on the size and condition of the home. While not mandatory, it is strongly encouraged that you be present for the inspection. - What is a Wind Mitigation Inspection? The purpose of a windstorm inspection or wind mitigation is to determine the appropriateness of a given structure’s construction in the event of strong winds, such as those present in a hurricane. Homeowners seeking insurance discounts often benefit from wind mitigation reports. A wind storm or wind mitigation report can also help homeowners determine how storm ready their home is given its current condition. - What is a 4-Point Inspection? The four point focuses only on four main area of your home. HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) / Electrical Wiring and Panels / Plumbing connections and fixtures / Roof This main purpose of this report will be to describe to the insurance company the condition and age of these elements. Depending on the insurance company, 4-point inspections are required for homeowner’s insurance policies (HO-3) and rental properties (DP-3) for older (30 years) properties. 4-point inspections are not required for renter’s insurance policies (HO-4) or condominium policies (HO-6), regardless of the age of the property.
