Introduction: Hi! I offer both tutoring services and resume & cover letter writing at all career levels. As an aerospace engineer, I remember the trials and tribulations of learning math fundamentals quite well. I'm patient, friendly and am well versed in simplifying complex concepts. Each of us learns best in a different way, and I do my best do adapt to each students style. Having worked hard towards an engineering career, I get a huge amount of satisfaction from helping others step towards their goals. This is true both with tutoring as well as helping people develop successful job applications.

Mike was great in helping my daughter with her 10th grade math. He was super friendly, understanding and patient! We saw a definite improvement in her grades and motivation. It's amazing what a little confidence can do. Thanks Mike!

Mike is thorough and competent. My middle school student gained confidence and got an A- on her hard math exam that she was struggling with before tutoring with Mike.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    I'm flexible.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I first like to sit with the student to fully understand their skill level and goals. We then go from there!

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

My undergraduate degree was a BE (Aeronautical Engineering) with first class honors. After working as an engineer for 2 years I went on to complete two M.S degrees in astronautics and space engineering. The math was aplenty, but I loved it :) I've trained pilots and students at various ability levels. I've also worked in Human Factors, which helped me understand how people learn differently.
