FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Theology and most of a Master’s in Counseling. I also have a law degree, which allowed me to do mediation. This is a great skill to work with in life coaching and couples coaching. I have years and years of training and experience in crisis intervention, counseling and coaching during my career in social services.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started out counseling friends who were going through major trauma or life changes, divorce, abusive relationships, spiritual awakening, illness, etc. I was always being encouraged to do it professionally, so I took the plunge and it has been so humbling and rewarding. After several of my clients referred me to their friends to officiate weddings, I decided to add that to my menu of services as well. From that, our collective of 4 wonderful women officiants was born. We love doing this work and doing it as a team. What an honor and privilege to share in these moments of people’s lives!
