Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I have been in the fitness industry for over 34 years. I began my career teaching a variety of classes such as step, strength, low/high impact aerobics, stretch and flexibility, bosu, and more. I accepted a position as the director of aerobics in a club in New York. Upon developing vocal cord injury, I pursued certifications in personal training and post rehab. I opened up my own studio over 34 years ago. I train clients with medical problems, clients looking to get fit and healthy, and clients looking to rehab injuries. I have developed a relationship with some doctors here in Tampa who refer patients to me for post rehab work. I am a Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist. As background, trigger points are very common sensitive spots in soft tissue that are either overlooked or ignored by the medical profession. The therapy consists of identifying potential causes of the pain, then both correcting the cause and treating the problem through hands-on therapy. The final phase is educating the client about daily self-care to further alleviate the pain. All three phases are critical in striving to make the patient pain free. Helping clients reach their goals whether they want to lose weight, gain muscle, rehab joint replacements, run a marathon, or any other goal is "priceless". Changing lives.. One exercise at a time!

Debbie Smesko is a wonderful person along with being the best personal trainer. My husband & I have been going to her 14 years, twice a week, for 1 1/2 hours. With exceptions of vacations, etc. I tell her, she is saving my life. I started going to her in my 50's after I quit playing tennis. She keeps up to date all the time, changing the exercises while working on the same muscles. She has some of the latest equipment including the Power Plate. Sometimes when you are in pain, she solves the problem. She even does Rehab for some doctors. Her limit is 4 people for 1 1/2 hour. She also keeps good records. We feel fortunate to have someone who cares and plan to stay with her indefinitely. We admit....If we don't pay, we would not do it on our own. Thanks Debbie! Dianne

Debbie is an amazing personal trainer. She is fun to work with, professional, knowledgable, and caring. She is always aware of each of her clients’ physical limitations so that she can make each session a positive experience. She has an outstanding studio that accommodates all types of physical abilities and limitations. Working with her for years, I have seen a significant change in my strength, flexibility and endurance. She is very knowledgable in working with all of types of body building, maintenance, and special physical problems. She also continues to study and do research to keep up on the latest information which she shares with all of her clients on a regular basis. I would highly recommend Debbie as a personal trainer.

I'm a relatively new client (a little over a year) but have been impressed with the individualized workouts she creates for her clients based on your abilities and/or prior injuries. It's never the same workout so it does not get boring and keeps you engaged and wanting to come back for more. Always love the way I feel after each workout, I currently do two 90-minute sessions a week. As you progress and are able to do more, she will adjust the workouts to ensure you're getting the maximum benefit. She works with you if you have new injuries incurred from everyday living and always shares new or relevant information, stretches or other "homework" she believes may be useful to her clients' general health and well-being. An incredible trainer [I've tried many in the past 5 years], beyond happy that I found her!

Debbie is the most conscientious and caring trainer you would ever want. She has studied her craft for many years and continues to find new ways to make exercise better and more fun for her clients. Her sessions are never dull or repetitive, and she has enough equipment to create almost endless ways to get fit. She also goes out of her to keep her clients informed of the latest trends in fitness, nutrition and health in general. Several of her clients have been with her for many years, which in itself is a testament to how good she is. I will continue to have her train me for as long as she'll have me.

I would highly recommend Debbie as a trainer to anyone without hesitation. She is a wonderful trainer and an even better person.
