Ben is an awesome piano teacher. He is very knowledgeable and gifted. My son has enjoyed taking lessons and has improved greatly in his ability to play and looks forward to his lessons each week. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Lesson tuition is charged monthly: • 30 min. lesson each week - $100/month • 45 min. lesson each week - $150/month • 60 min. lesson each week - $200/month
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first consultation lesson is free! In the first lesson, I assess the student’s capability to establish their skill level and areas of improvement. We also discuss any musical goals toward which they would like to work. Based on the assessment, we create an individualized, tailored plan based on the student’s strengths, learning style, and the needed areas of improvement to help them progress to achieve their goals. We also find the best lesson time based on the student’s schedule.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated with distinction from Northern Arizona University with a Masters of Music Degree and was awarded the 2020 NAU Outstanding Graduate in Master of Music. I graduated Summa cum Laude from Weber State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education. I have been teaching private music lesson for over 10 years, and have taught over 100 students in total. I studied private voice with Dr. Karen Brookens, Gary Sorensen, and Marta Gutierez. I also studied private piano with Dr. Gerta Wiemar, Melinda Tall, and Misty Wiese.
