Introduction: Real estate is the best asset class for building wealth. I came to this conclusion after spending an embarrassing number of hours researching the riveting tax code, interviewing real estate professionals, and dabbling in real estate myself. I help real estate investors (and wannabe investors) with their tax planning, tax prep, financial planning, and passive income investing strategies. I enjoy talking investing with my peers. Other than spending time with my kids, there is nothing more enjoyable than helping someone construct their investment portfolio, take the time and headache out of taxes, or develop a student loan/debt elimination strategy.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There are two primary services that I offer. One is based on tax planning and tax prep for real estate investors. The other is comprehensive financial planning and investment management for real estate investors. The basic level of tax planning/prep, which is $69/mo, includes: - Tax prep for individual/family - Semi-annual strategy sessions & review - tax strategy/planning - real estate deal review/first deal strategy - ongoing email support - online Accounting set-up The basic level of comprehensive financial planning ($97/mo) includes: - everything above in tax planning/prep plus - a written financial plan with bite-sized to-dos - 24/7 access to "Personal Financial Management" software - focus on passive income strategy Investment management starts at 1% of assets under management.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, you'll have a free consultation in which we discuss your goals and objectives, and we'll discuss our plans and pricing options. After the consultation and some additional data gathering, I'll send a proposal and we'll take it from there! If it's determined that we'd be a good fit, we will determine the appropriate service arrangement and we have a streamlined client onboarding process.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Completion of the Series 65 - Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination. I personally invest in real estate and strategically in the stock market. In addition, I have a team of professionals (Enrolled Agent for tax preparation and the CFO of a multi-million dollar company for bookkeeping and accounting) to ensure that you have the comprehensive service you need.
