Kevin is not your corporate trained organizer, who all too often will leave you with "tasks to do" when they leave and you're still as much in a muddleb as before they arrived! When Kevin arrives hope and relief are immediately felt! I know for Kevin has assisted me for over 10 years through several moves and he has helped my children too! He describes himself as having "the organizing gene" in his family. He never takes over, you always feel in charge of the process and confident and relaxed that everything will be neat as a pin when he leaves. And, it is! He never leaves you with more boxes to do because everything is organized as you wish and he removes all trash and takes whatever you don't want to wherever ~ donations, etc. you want it to go, and he will bring you the tax receipt for your donation too! Kevin is genuinely kind and caring, he loves what he does and he will do anything he can to create a neat and tidy, serene, comfortable environment for you when he leaves! Short version: Don't hesitate, hire Kevin (KOAT Industries) if you're even THINKING you need an extra hand. Kevin was a life-saver on more than one occasion. He's incredibly fast, organized, and one of the kindest people I've met, reliable, and trustworthy. Longer version: Kevin came highly recommended to us when we were looking for a "handyman" to help get our house on the market and we hired his services several more times. To give you an idea of the types of tasks we've enlisted his help with: he changed out all 9 smoke detectors with brand new ones (we have vaulted ceilins) and changed a bunch of light bulbs we couldn't reach; he put a new door handle on our front door, took down a wooden structure that was cemented 18 inches into the ground in our back yard, completely cleared out our basement and garage including a bunch of old paint, trash, donations (which he politely took for us), etc. He really is a "Kevin of All Trades", and did I mention fast? What would take us all weekend, he can do in a couple of hours. What I also love about Kevin, he comes with a plan. During our last move (my father's belongings) I didn't even know where to start. I was so overwhelmed. He jumped right in and got us on track quickly. We wouldn't have made any of our timelines without him. And lastly, his compassion and patience. My dad was very overwhelmed with the process, having to downsize and go through a lot of tough memories which lead to a break down or two. Kevin didn't miss a beat and while he was so patient with dad, we didn't fall off track on our timeline and managed to find ways dad could stay engaged and involved. I wish we had met Kevin sooner as we always struggled to do all the little things around the house. Thanks Kevin!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have found that no two organizing jobs are the same. Thus, I give a free consultation to understand what your organizational needs really are. Also, you get to meet me and put a face and personality with a name. At that point, if you feel we are a match I can give you an honest pricing for your "Clutter-Freeing" job.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Free Consultation - Answer all questions - Figure out what area is giving you the most stress - Give estimate - Schedule first organizing session - Organize - Give you new lateral space - Watch you smile!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a middle school teacher of 27 years now - so patience and teaching are obviously part of my process. Thirteen years of "on the job experience" helps me best the organizer for you.
