She has all five qualities work quality, professionalism, responsible punctuation and very good values. She inspired me to get in to the fitness style of life. She takes her time to explain every spate and she has the passion for what she does. She all way recommended me to listen to my body every time I eat and exercise. - What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and I have my Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Exercise Science from Azusa Pacific University.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?Growing up I struggled with my weight and after I graduated high school I wanted to change that so I got my first gym membership. I lost the weight but didn't get really passionate about fitness until around my 21st birthday when I had been diagnosed with Celiac Disease. Exercise became a big part of my stress relief and helped me manage my Celiac better. Unfortunately, the diagnosis complicated my relationship with food and I developed and eating disorder. I became underweight and once I started recovery exercise was there helping me get back up on my feet. This time I wanted to know everything I could about exercise and the human body so I changed my major to Applied Exercise Science and the passion to help people learn from my mistakes and what I didn't know began to grow.
- What types of customers have you worked with?I have worked with a wide variety of age groups, fitness levels, injuries, etc. I started as a trainer at LA Fitness and have had experience with various groups of people.
