- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?The first session we discuss the specific history of the customer, his or her needs, and we can establish targets together. We spend a lot of time communicating and then we get to work :)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a PhD in neurobiology, a certification in nutrition, wellness, and fitness training. But most importantly I am a yoga certified 200 RYT teacher. The Yoga I teach is called Mind Body Centering Yoga from Nina Be and Bart Westdorp's school in downtown Durham. It is a trauma sensitive type of yoga that encompasses all aspects of yoga: including breathing, meditation, grounding, balancing and strengthening. I like to add my personal touch which is core strengthening exercises to help posture and lower back problems, and I use music to make it more fun! Every class is different so be ready to be inspired!
