FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I first meet a new student, I like to get a feel for where their Mandarin is at and also what their goals are. Together we will talk about goals and strategy to help reach those goals. I also like to understand their learning style. Everyone learns differently, once I understand best how a student learns, we can cater to those specific needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I spoke fluently in Mandarin for two years when I lived abroad in Taiwan. I have also studied Mandarin at the University level and I continue to use Mandarin daily in my work.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
The main thing to think about when looking for a Mandarin teacher is what your specific goals are. Communication is key. It is important to find a teacher that is flexible to a student's specific learning style so they can have a fun time while absorbing the maximum amount possible. I am very passionate about Mandarin, but even more passionate about teaching. I work hard to find my student's learning style and work with them according to their needs.
