- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, where my mother was a hair and makeup artist for movies, television, and more. Every day, I would sit and watch her do her hair and makeup and was always so fascinated with the process. My love for beauty continued and never left my side, even while attending college. It was there, where I would continously do hair and makeup for my friends' weddings and events - and I fell in love with the idea of making it my full time job. I knew that if I could happily wake up at 4am to do a hair and makeup appointment, I should be waking up to do this everyday...so then I just decided to GO FOR IT and started Allie Laree Beauty.
