Introduction: I have been teaching for over 6 years, all over the country. I have worked at the #1 Golf Schools in America and at some of the top-ranked courses in the country. I have seen people of all ages, abilities and types on my lesson tee. No student is beyond my reach, as long as they WANT to get better. I am extremely passionate about helping people in all aspects of their game, regardless of handicap. I specialize in mental coaching and short game. My students tell me that they've never taken a lesson from someone quite like me before. My goal is to make golf easier so that it's more fun and to make golf more fun so that it's easier! Golf DOESN'T have to be hard! I love helping people get better! It puts a smile on my face to see my students improve. I love to learn as much as I love to teach and it's infectious to be around other people who want to work at getting better. My work doesn't feel like work at all.

Kristin is a fantastic teaching pro. She has helped me manage my expectations and caught me numerous times being frustrated, forgetting the game is supposed to be fun. Its not a game of perfect. Her instruction is clear, simple and focused on the swing and golfer she is presented with - not rebuilding each person into a Rory or Justin. Her enthusiasm alone is worth the lesson. Redirect your energy into the positive! Look at her videos at her website or you tube and you'll see my comments are spot on. Men often feel they need a male teacher - wrong. Highest recommendation.

I am so thankful for the expertise in teaching that Kristen gave me. For years I have struggled with finding a professional who was able to teach me skills that led to improvement in my game. I have gained more confidence and learned to uncomplicate my game. Her one on one lessons are personal and directly focused on the individuals needs to improve his/her game. Her videos on YouTube are my go to. I have found so much value in her ability to simplify the game of golf or at least make me strive for simplification. If five stars is the topper, she deserves 10!

Kristin is a one in 1 million golf instructor. On top of being an excellent golf coach she is also a phenomenal player. She's actually playing in an LPGA major this June. This is a very rare combination! What I like most about the way Kristin teaches is her athletic and natural approach. She sees everything as a strength, not a weakness, and works with what you have rather than trying to make you fit into a specific mold. I was a two handicap before I met her and after taking lessons became a +1. Anyone that can take a lesson from Kristin should consider themselves lucky.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I do a quick interview to determine their experience, background, previous sports played, injuries and goals for their golf game. Then I'll do an initial assessment of their swing including the fundamentals of grip, posture and alignment as well as getting a feel for what they're already working on/thinking about. My goal is to tell my student as LITTLE as possible to effect the MOST change.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Certified Jim McLean Instructor as well as LPGA Teaching Pro I played elite-level junior golf (AJGA, et al), played 4 years at a Division I University (Texas) and played on the LPGA Symetra Tour. I have studied under Jim McLean, Bryan Lebedevitch, Robin Freeman, Jamie Fischer and Chris Walkey among others.
