    Alana offers excellent instruction coupled with an effective, personalized exercise experience. She is a thorough trainer with your best interest and goals in mind. I was surprised to find out how personable, reliable and affordable she is for the quality of workout experience. She will even do some of the workouts with you. It's like working out with a friend. I would highly recommend training with her!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I like to get to know my clients. We'll discuss your experiences and your goals. We'll move on to an assessment to see what we need to strengthen to avoid any injuries. Every person's goals are different and every approach is different. I'll work with you and your comfort level.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from the University of Florida with a BA and was on a Pre-Med track. I've worked in dental offices and family clinics. Health and wellness are my priority. I understand anatomy and physiology in-depth along with other medical practices. I know the body in and out from a medical and an exercise stand point. My future goal is to graduate from PA school and work with my patients in and outside the clinic both on health and fitness.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always been one to care for others. I took care of all the kids on the block when they got a scraped knee or fell off their bike. As I continued to pursue medicine, I knew I wanted to do more. It's easy for doctors to tell their patients to exercise, but majority of patients don't know where to start. I believe it's important to have an understanding of a patient and client when it comes to health and fitness.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All types! Young, new, experienced, pre-body builders, rehab, you name it. I can work with anyone to help achieve set goals.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure you can mesh with your trainer. Communication is key. A lot of people can show and teach you, but when you mesh with your trainer, you actually become more motivated. Find someone who wants to actually HELP you and ACHIEVE your goals with you.

Think about what you are looking to accomplish and be as specific as possible. The more clear you are with us, the more we are able to help you!
