- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For vacant home staging we charge a flat fee based on the size of the house and distance from my office. For a furnished home an hourly rate works the best. For a home over 2,500 square feet we can determine if the use of larger rental furniture pieces, such as a sofa, large dining room table or patio furniture, will enhance the presence of the home. Our fee for a home consultation with walk-thru and written report is $100-$150 based on the distance from our office.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We prefer to get photos ahead of our installation of staging items to your home so that we can plan color schemes and determine a time frame for completion.We can also come to your home for an initial consultation to determine the scope of work needed for updating, organizing and preparing your furnished home for resale.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My background is in event planning, so I am very detail oriented, prompt and efficient. I took online training in home staging but received my most valuable lessons working side by side with an experienced home stager in Winter Park.
