- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We talk to all our customers (typically the parent) but older students as well. We provide a tour of our center and then work conduct any assessments with the student. The Center Director will also visit with the parent(s) to talk about the student's situation briefly, depending on the type of assessment being given. Many students will work one to one with our tutors. Others, at most, will work on at most a four to one ratio. In this case, there are no classes, each student received a customized program from the tutor and is given appropriate individualized attention.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We have students that have increased their exam results from well below average to A's. We have students that could not read and are now writing. We have students that have increased their ACT scores by over 10 points.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
You might want to ask about the qualifications of their tutors? How qualified and degreed are they? Are they active teachers? What are their student ratios? Is their curriculum all proprietary, or are they able to refer to other sources? What hours of flexibility do they offer?
