FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our initial service calls (i.e inspections and cleanings) are within a pricing structure that is based on a few factors such as fuel source, number of fireplaces, etc. When it comes to repairs or fireplace remodels and installs, each job is custom. With each job being custom, the prices are tailor made to each individual job. Prices range and differ depending on the scope of the job and the specific desires, visions, and goals of our customers.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The typical process begins with a CSIA Certified Chimney Sweep® doing a "closed circuit video scan" of the interior and exterior of the chimney. During this inspection process, your goals are heard and planned out custom to your desires, if it is a specific project you have in mind. If defects are found during our inspection, the the areas in need of attention and their solutions are then put into a custom report with pricing and options for each repair.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All technicians that lead our repairs and inspections are certified. Certification is through the Certified Safety Institute of America (CSIA). A CSIA Certified Chimney Sweep® is up-to-date with fire codes, standards, regulations and proven solutions to chimney problems. Hiring a CSIA Certified Chimney Sweep® brings value to your dollar because you will be getting a professional with proven results the first time. The certification requires on-going training and/or testing to maintain the certification. This dedication only confirms the commitment a CSIA Certified Chimney Sweep® has for the industry and your safety.
