FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For Business Consulting: I try to offer a flat fee as much as possible because I understand the importance of predictability for a small company. For Due Diligence Data Room Prep: I charge a flat fee for my services based on the approximate number of documents you currently have fully executed (all signatures) and the number of documents of which I will need to collect at least one signature page. You can expect to only have one payment unless the approximate number of documents is significantly higher. For Contract Management: I charge a monthly flat fee for my services based on the approximate number of documents you currently have fully executed (all signatures) and the number of documents of which I will need to track down signatures. This service is different from data room prep. You may not be ready for a data room or you may not put all of your contracts in the data room. You may simply need someone to organize your POs or your employment/HR files. Discounts --If you already use me for one service, I will discount other services. --If you are a non-profit, please inquire for a discount. --If you have incorporated within the past 6 months. please inquire for a discount. My flat rate pricing and services do not include drafting and revising documents. I can refer you to other necessary legal counsel for those services.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My onboarding process is an initial telephone call or meeting to discuss your needs, preferences, and timeline. If you have a small bucket of files at the office, I will make sure to bring my mobile scanner or schedule several office visits to go through your files. Upon receipt of initial payment, I will begin the service immediately.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am licensed to practice law in California. I used to practice as a small business/startup attorney where I assisted with corporate, technology, and financing transactions. I then formed my own legal practice.
