Introduction: I believe that my educational training as an elementary school teacher has provided me with the fundamentals needed to be successful. Furthermore, my 5+ years teaching overseas has given me the opportunity to encounter learners of all levels and abilities, many of whom did not speak English as a first language. I learned how to adapt to different needs while providing safe surroundings to explore the world of learning.
My favorite part of teaching children is the moment when I can see the light turn on in the child's eyes. When he or she finally understands the concept being learned is a magical moment and experiencing this makes it all worth it. I also enjoy the fact that I can provide a safe and nurturing environment for a child to learn and grow in.

Christine is a former colleague of mine. We taught primary school together for two years, and during that time I was able to get to know her as a teacher and friend. Honestly, she is one of the best teachers I have ever worked with. She always puts the needs and interests of the student above her own and is dedicated to see each student reach their full potential. She expects a lot from her students because she knows they will succeed with diligence and hard work. She takes time to prepare specialized lessons for each individual learner and always seems to know how to build upon that person's particular strengths and weaknesses. I highly recommend her as a tutor and teacher.

I taught with Christine for a year and a half in Prague and she was always well prepared with fun activities for the kids. She's extremely organized and super creative with her teaching. In our time together, I always saw parents asking her for extra tutoring time with their kids because they loved the way she taught. She has taught at many different age levels, which helps aid her in what will be expected next for each student. I am proud to have worked with her and would gladly do so again.
