- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a standard pricing system for resume and cover letter writing services and that is $125 for the total project that includes edits. For grant writing, public relations, social media and web content the pricing vary by the complexity and duration of the project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to either have a phone conference or meet in person with a new customer to determine their exact expectations, timelines and ask them questions. I would then ask the customer to forward a draft or outline information if they have available. Using this information and that gained through the telephone call, I would put a draft the requested material and send it back to the customer for editing and feedback. I would make the suggested changes and continue to work with the customer until they are 100% satisfied.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 34 years of writing experience working in fields such as government relations and nonprofit fundraising. I have received a Grantsmanship Certificate from The Grantsmanship Center and have taken a number of resume writing classes.
