Introduction: I have many years of experience in teaching piano students. I have worked in multiple music academies in southern California.
I have graduated from University of California Irvine (UCI) with a B.A. degree in piano performances and University of Southern California (USC) in Scoring for Motion Pictures and Television (SMPTV).
I am currently a working composer, and I have spent most of my life devoted to music.
I am great with kids and adults from beginner level to advanced level.
Music is always fun! It is a way to take away stress and to enjoy life. I would love to share the love of music with everyone.

I'm not a musically talented, but a lover for music. I've lazily taken some piano lessons when I was a kid, which was regretful when I grew up to appreciate music & education. With courage & determination, I reached out to Michelle for some lesson. She is a very warm hearted, patient teacher with brilliant smile and charming personality. She never gave up on me and was always gentle and encouraging; she made practicing and learming very enjoyable. I could hardly play with one hand before I've met her, but now I can easily read and play czerny properly! She taught & showed me beyond the limits and am so grateful to have had such wonderful teacher who allowed me to be proud of myself and make my courage worthwhile. It's regretful to have suspended our lesson due to moving, but I highly recommend Michelle as a teacher!

Michelle is a genuine, willing teacher. She actually makes piano lessons fun and entertaining and never makes you feel stupid for not being able to play well. She was also willing to work with my music taste.
Michelle also has a great work ethic. She was always on time and rarely canceled lessons. If she had to, she would let me know days in advance and also did makeup lessons. I cannot recommend her more!
