FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is set based on the size and age of the property. Discounts are available for repeat customers. Additional costs are only added for additional inspections (such as a pool). Thermal camera inspections are included free with every inspection!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First we talk about the property and the scope of work to be completed. What size, how old, and what kind of inspection (full/limited home inspection, mold inspection, etc) is desired are the questions to be addressed. Once these are known a quote can be given and a time scheduled. The final inspection agreement is generally signed on site if the client is present, and payment is received before the report is released. I call the client afterwards with a follow up to address any questions that may have come up.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am double certified by the American Home Inspection Training Institute and the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors. I am also certified in mold inspections by the International Association of Certified Indoor Air Consultants (IAC2) and in energy audits by the Building Performance Institute (BPI). I have past experience working as a handyman doing a bit of everything.
