Thank you Deirdre, it was a pleasure photographing the day for you and Chris!
Kat recently photographed my kids for holiday pictures. She captured the personality of each one of my children perfectly. She did an amazing job and made may children feel comfortable during the session. The photographs will provide my family with memories for years to come.Apr 28, 2018Kat Carney Photography's reply

Kat came out to our house and arrived when she said she would. She worked quickly so our little guy wouldn't get burnt out on taking pictures (he was 3 months at the time). She was able to get him to look at her and smile but then also capture candid moments of us as a family. I love the way she captured details that we wouldn't have thought about and worked with the lighting of our back yard. The pictures she took of us are still some of my favorite!Apr 27, 2018Kat Carney Photography's reply
Thanks for your review! It was wonderful to photograph your child!
She took photos of my track and field athletes, and not only did the pictures turn out amazing, but the athletes had a great time too. Now they have memories that will last forever, and we have great images for our website.May 1, 2018Kat Carney Photography's reply

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Every job is different and the most important thing is the client is happy with the final results. I will work on your project until you are happy with the product! I love capturing people's stories and I love my job. Generally, I charge $200 per hour of shooting for portrait shoots. This is because for every hour of shooting, I spend and hour or more editing, and creating the final product. Usually in a 2 hour shoot I will provide 30-40 final images. For commercial shoots I charge per image. Please contact me for more info.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to chat with the client to see what their end goal is for the images, what they like and don't like and how we can best achieve their goal. Often I have them send me a couple sample shots of the type of image they like. At the shoot I will show them the images on my camera LCD, and if they would like, after we can sit down and review the ones they like on a computer screen. When shooting a large project with a team, I will shoot tethered to a computer so the Art Director can review while we are in the process of shooting.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I've been a photographer for more than a decade. I was trained in photojournalism in university and I bring that storytelling style to a lot of my commercial and editorial projects.
