- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All jobs vary and I try to price my jobs and materials to what works for the customer. With the new surplus of masons/landscapers and many more distriputers the prices for real masonry work have risen dramatically in the last decade. I try to appeal to my customers and give them an honest
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Right after highschool I had an opportunity to work in masonry. I had been landscaping throughout my youth and was instantly drawn to the hisroric craft of masonry.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
In my 18 years experience I've worked all kinds of projects. My first 7 years was mostly residential masonry and hardscape for home owners and landscape architects. I learned alot off of my first boss. The past decade I've been on all kinds of larger commercial jobs for places like Harvard, MIT and The Museum of Fine Art. The residential work and restoration is my passion that I get to do on the side since I first started in Local 3 BricklayersUnion in 2004.
